Circus

Or as Zoe calls it, "The Surface."
Last weekend we took the kids to the circus. I had to keep reminding myself to have fun and not worry about the $60 we spent on parking, tickets, pony rides, and a couple of corndogs and cotton candy. I wasn't prepared for the expense I guess.Anyways.... The $4 spun sugar was quite the hit...
...with the whole family! The girls really did enjoy themselves. And that's all that matters, right?!

For Zoe

Today was Zoe's first day of her Park and Rec class: 2-3 yr old story and craft time. The books were about cats and so the craft was to make a cat. As you can see she is pretty proud of it.

She only interrupted the teacher once, sat still until a kid threw a shoe at her. What did she do next? She threw it right back at her and gave her a mean look of course :/ And the best part, she didn't whine or ask for food for 45 mintues! I wish we could go everyday :)

Seriously though, Zoe is so strong willed and relentless. She doesn't let things go and there is no talking her down, even if you say yes she'll then say no. Crazy kid. She'll be 3 in 3 months. Hopefully she'll move from terrible two's to terrific three's?!?!

Da Dave

My man turned 33 on Monday. I'm glad we are growing old together. He's a great husband and dad. However, he's really hard to buy gifts for. So I bought him dinner for his birthday. Who am I kidding?! He makes the money in the house and we had a free entree coupon! LOL that's how we do it :)
Below is Zoe in Dave's office at work. She had lots of fun. And I think Dave enjoyed it too. I'm so Thankful that Dave is career minded. :)

Heidi's Wedding

Last Saturday my "little" cousin, Heidi, got married. It was so much fun!!! I think I say this at every wedding, but I mean it. It was the best, prettiest, funnest wedding I've been to and the bride looked stunning! This picture pretty much speaks for itself. 12 Tobkin cousins and 7 in-laws equals a pretty loud and crazy bunch.
See what I mean? Stunning! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Hoy!
Seems as if this is the last cousin wedding I'll be to for awhile. I have 6 (Tobkin and Pearson) more that are not making any plans... Hmm. I guess we'll have to celebrate babies and just because!
