football and the great outdoors

It's been so nice lately, we've been spending lots of time outside. Last weekend the girls enjoyed feeding the ducks at Reid Park and at our community park driving around in Kayleigh's Barbie Jeep.


The jeep was a great $25 investment- we bought it at a yard sale.

Katie and I hiked (half way) up Pichaco Peak on Saturday. It was fantastic!

We had a few people over to watch the Cards vs. Eagles today. It was lots of fun. It was our first football party. Kayleigh and her friends had lots of fun too! We don't typically follow football, so dave made a shirt to support both teams. :o)

she's just at such a fun age. One of her new favorite things to do is sort. very cute.

Here's to a new year and new things!

Today is Thursday. Always a busy day for us. Zoe and I drop Kayleigh off at Pre-K, then ZoBug and I hang out, usually we run errands. After school Kayleigh has ballet and tap until 5. Then I go home and go straight into dinner mode.

Today was a nice day so Zoe and I went for a really long walk around the neighboorhood.

Now, it's nap time and I'm letting her cry her self to sleep.

I was going to through a roast in the slow cooker before I left the house this morning, but totally spaced it. Guess we can have frozen pizza tonight. Thursdays should be my easy cook day. I've put effort into everything else I've cooked this week.

I got glasses on Monday. I'll have to take a picture... They are for seeing things far away and supposed to cure my headaches... well, I think I can see a bit better.
